Bellowhead is the band round John Spiers - melodeon, Jon Boden - vocals, fiddle, Benji Kirkpatrick - guitar, bouzouki, Giles Lewin - fiddle, bagpipes Paul Sartin - fiddle, oboe, Pete Flood - stomp box etc, Rachael McShane - cello, fiddle, Justin Thurgur - trombone, Brendan Kelly - saxes and Andy Mellon - trumpet. Their claim to fame is to cause the audience to break through the dance floor at Sidmouth Festival!
This is a five track CD starting with 'Rambling Sailor' (which has already received a lot of airplay). Two other songs are included 'Copshawholme fair' and 'Prickleeye Bush'. The instrumentals -'Jack Robinson' medley and 'Rochdale Coconut Dance' are lively and build up quite nicely.
