Lyn together with her sister played the midlands folk clubs in the sixties. After a long lay off, she came back to the folk scene in 2001 and this is her debut CD. It features 10 traditional and one of hers own songs accompanied by her "unique finger-style and frailing guitar techniques
She sings well and her excellent playing is reminiscent of Bert Jansch. Most of the songs are well known such as. 'The Blacksmith', 'A Sailor's life'. 'Rosemary lane', 'Bruton town' etc and were popularised in the sixties so may not be so familiar with today's audience.
