Out for the Night (Temple Records C0MD2094)

This is their 20th album for Temple Records and the second one featuring Alan Reid (vocals, keyboards), Mike Katz (highland pipes), Alasdair White (bazouki) and Pat Kilbride (guitar). There are 12 studio and 3 live tracks.
The album has a traditional Scottish feel to it (helped by the appearance of the pipes) and contains the usual mix of tunes and songs.
They have drawn in material from many sources. A number of the tunes have been self-penned and several of the songs have been adapted by the band from ballads. My favourite has to be 'The King's Shilling' by local musician Ian Sinclair.
