Meridian

Meridian is a trio based round the chordal work of Richard Jones (accordion),
the melodic lines of Chris Walshaw (pipes, whistle, flute) and Anna Tabbush
(voice, fiddle, flute).
Anna contributes two songs, 'Nottamun Town' and 'At the Break of the Day'.
All the other tracks are instrumental, composed mainly by Richard and Chris. The
tunes are of that ethereal, hypnotic type, pioneered by Blowzabella, and styled on
French dance tunes - indeed they play for Eurodances. Catch them at the Festival
Hall Foyer in March or Folk South East in April.
