Whapweasle is a melodeon led 8 piece ceilidh band, which also features saxes and keyboard. Robin Jowett the melodeon player has a hand in writing most of the music They merge many styles (I event detected Madness' 'Baggy Trousers' in there). The overall result is a rocky, jazzy, head banging mixture ideally suited to Sidmouth and Towersey Festivals (where they have appeared). Steeleye Span's Rick Kemp, who also appears on guitar, has produced the CD.
