Random are a ceilidh band consisting of Saul Rose, Paul Nye, Glynn Burch, Keith Holloway, Ian Woledge and Roger Smith. With Saul at the helm it is a melodeon led band featuring all the clichés including Glynn's rasping bass trombone cutting through like an angry hornet.
Lots of popular tunes here, Nellie Bligh, Chinese Breakdown, and Portsmouth. Staten Island etc. The opening track is very interesting - they call it Jacob - Jamaica, I recognise Enrico then we merge into The Lion Sleeps Tonight and finish with the Playford tune Jamaica.
