This is an own label production available from 113, Malham Road Forest Hill, London. Steve was a founder member of the Belfast-based band, Blackthorn, and Iain a session musician. Steve plays fiddle and Ian backs him on guitar, banjo, mandolin and percussion. The playing needless to say is immaculate.
The music is founded in the Irish tradition and is pleasant, but being mainly self. Penned sometimes lacks the immediacy of well-loved session tunes. For this reason my stand out tracks are Tam O'Lin and Buy Broom Besoms.
